An example of Beistle's 15 years of employment service pin, made of 14 kt. gold, maroon glass enamel and set with a 2mm Ruby. Beistle awarded service pins to its workforce based upon 5 year increments of employment. The first 5 year level was designated by an amber Citrine, the 10 year mark with a Blue Sapphire, the 15 a Ruby, the 20 year level an Emerald and 25 years of service with a Diamond. Above 25 years the Diamonds increased in size with each 5 year increment of employment. The longest known service level was 56 years. The pins were highly coveted by employees and rarely turn up in the market.
